Scope
The main objective of this training is to understand the fundamentals of the Zotero bibliographic reference management tool and to be introduced to its main functionalities.
At the end of this training, the participants will be able to start managing their own references' library on Zotero.

- Collecting of bibliographical references
- Building up your database, managing and annotating your citations
- Understanding citation styles
- Quoting while writing, using the word processor plug-in
- Creating and editing a bibliography
- Saving and synchronizing citations and data
- Working in a collaborative mode
Practical information
To get the most out of this training, we advise you to install Zotero beforehand on your laptop as follows: go to https://www.zotero.org/
Once installed, you should also see a Zotero menu in your word processor. If not, you may download the plug in manually, using this help page: https://www.zotero.org/
