Building your bibliography with Zotero (Online)

Scope

The main objective of this training is to understand the fundamentals of the Zotero bibliographic reference management tool and to be introduced to its main functionalities.
At the end of this training, the participants will be able to start managing their own references' library on Zotero and to create a bibliography.

Building up a database, managing and annotating references
Understanding citation styles
Quoting while writing, using the word processor plug-in
Creating and editing a bibliography
Saving and synchronizing citations and data
Working in a collaborative mode

Practical details

To get the most out of this training, we advise you to install Zotero beforehand on your laptop as follows: go to https://www.zotero.org/download/ and download the software along with the connector.

Once installed, you should also see a Zotero menu in your word processor. If not, you may download the plug in manually, using this help page: https://www.zotero.org/support/fr/word_processor_plugin_manual_installation or use the Zotero menu in Google Docs.
